Sharing wedding photos on your computer or laptop can often be a challenge because high-resolution photos are usually big in file size which means it may take a while to send over or you could face issues with space. Whilst it obviously depends on a number of factors there are ways in which sharing wedding photos can be made easier.

If you're looking to share your wedding photos on a Mac, then you might want to consider photos2webgallery. This is a powerful app that creates a stunning web photo gallery from the Apple Photos library or any image folder on your Mac. You can then share the generated HTML output folder in a number of ways. For instance, if you have made a personalised wedding website, then you can add the HTML to your website and your guests will be able to view the photos directly from your website! How professional does that sound? It's also less stressful and you won't have to send it to everybody one by one. You just have to give them your website and let them know when the photos will be published there!

Then there is the ease and execution of using iCloud photo sharing. This option is great for sharing wedding photos especially with family and friends who live far away and may not have been able to attend your big day.

With iCloud photo sharing, all you would need to do it set up your wedding album on your Mac or Apple device and invite people who own Macs or iOS devices and get them to subscribe to it (or you can also subscribe them directly). Then every time you share a bunch of photos to that album, they get added to the album automatically on every subscriber’s device, or in the Photos application on the Mac. This means that no one needs to go hunting for the photos or view on a web page because the photos just arrive directly to their Mac.

There is also the option to set up shared albums where subscribers can also post photos of your wedding day that they may have captured which creates an ever-increasing gallery of images.

If you don't have a Mac however, don't worry. There are other ways that you can share your wedding photos. Chances are, your wedding photographer will be aware of the other ways and will recommend the best option for you.

For broad sharing, most photographers may recommend using Dropbox as this is a great option if you're looking to share a larger number of photos from your wedding. In some cases, your photographer may have already done this for you so you would only need to forward on the link to your guest, but if there are photos you don't want to share, then the above is what you could do to show a select number of photos from your big day.

So if you're ever worried that your nearest and dearest aren't able to view your wedding album because they may be too far away and couldn't make the wedding, now you know that it is very possible to share your wedding album on a Mac and on other devices too. Just ask your photographer because chances are they will know more ways than one to share your wedding album.
