Glencoe engagement Photographer | Nikki + Matthew

I had a conversation with a friend of mine the other day and we looked back on some of our old photos thinking “Man, time truly flies.” It really is crazy to look back at photos of yourselves - photos of moments that you know vividly in your hearts. Photos that may feel like was yesterday but in reality, they were taken a while back. Photos of moments that you barely remember - because as humanbeings, our memories can be filled up with so much that we don’t necessarily remember all the tiny details. This is why as wedding photographers and filmmakers, we care sooo much about details.

For this couple session, we ventured into the Scottish wilderness and explored a new trail. We intentionally planned the shoot around sunset and when we got there, the light was PERFEEEEEEECT! Nikki and Matt, met in an expat party in Kuda Bandos Resort in Maldives. She was a nurse in a hospital there and Matt worked in a super yacht that was anchored there for 6 months. When we asked about the proposal, Nikki mentioned that “It was during sunrise at the balcony of our hotel in Miami Beach Florida. He woke me up maybe 2-3 minutes before sunrise. Waited for the sun and popped the question
