An Aberdour Engagement Shoot
Welcome back to the blog where we'll be sharing the beautiful engagement story of Bettina and Henry, a Scottish-Mongolian-German couple, who were so full of life and energy and buzzing for their engagement shoot. Bettina and Henry reached out to us for a photo + video package and told us that they envision their day to be 'simple, elegant, intimate and intentional'. As a photographer and filmmaker, knowing the style and feel of the wedding beforehand allows me to get my creative juices flowing so that I can put in my 110% to their day and document the day flawlessly.
Bettina and Henry asked for their engagement shoot to be in Aberdour, a quaint, scenic and historic village located on the South coast of Fife. The village is a beautiful spot for shooting a pre-wedding/engagement shoots and the picturesque seaside town, offers visitors a great deal including two beautiful beaches, a harbour, castle, golf course and more.
Whilst we were a little unsure of the weather, we weren't going to let that stop us and well to be honest, everything worked perfectly in the end! What made it even better was the peaceful and tranquil surroundings as this really added to the atmosphere and set the scene for Bettina & Henry making it feel romantic and intimate.
The shoot was definitely adventurous and we were able to capture photos that I know Bettina and Henry will cherish for a lifetime. I love it when my couples have fun and enjoy the experience and as I always say, it's all about the time you spend as a couple, the special moments before you become one and being able to look back several years later at your album and feeling nothing but true happiness. Being able to also document the couple's wedding means a full album from start to finish and we are ever so excited to have the honour of doing this for such a lovely couple.
