We’re beyond excited to share a glimpse into the breathtaking destination wedding of Nia and Tyler, who travelled all the way from New York to tie the knot in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. With the stunning Balnagown Castle as the backdrop and a magical reception at Glenmorangie House, this was a fairytale from start to finish.

A Destination Dream

Surrounded by the charm of Ross-shire, Nia and Tyler welcomed guests from across the USA to celebrate their love story. The festivities kicked off with spirited Highland Games on the estate grounds — a fun-filled pre-wedding celebration that ended with Team Tyler taking the crown with the highest overall score!

The sun made a rare but most welcome appearance, bathing the castle and gardens in golden light. Nia and Tyler got ready separately at the Balnagown Estates, soaking in the peaceful surroundings before saying their vows in the Italian Gardens. With a gentle breeze, the scent of fresh blooms in the air, and a harpist setting the mood, the ceremony was nothing short of magical.

After the “I do’s,” guests enjoyed a champagne drinks reception in the gardens before heading to the breathtaking Glenmorangie House for the evening celebrations.

The reception took place in a beautifully styled glasshouse, brought to life with lush greenery and romantic florals by the talented team at @lavenderandroseevents. The design was expertly curated over several days leading up to the wedding, resulting in an atmosphere that was intimate, elegant, and unforgettable.
