Tentsmuir Forest Engagement photographer | Shawn + Blair
For Shawn & Blair’s engagement shoot, we headed to the local forest (which has become one of my favourite spots for wedding and engagement photography).
Dodging the changeable weather, we ventured through the pine trees and captured candid moments with the backdrop of the beautiful forest. Shawn & Blair were both feeling adventurous so we wandered further through the forest to explore the area whilst I documented intimate moments. We even tried the famous piggy-back photo where Blair gave Shawn a piggyback...(something Shawn had seen on social media and was raring to try) and it turned out great!
I have to say, whilst shooting a wedding is at the top of my favourite's list, my second favourite would have to be engagement shoots and I always find them to be so useful. Not only it's a chance for us to meet up in person prior to your wedding day, it is also a chance for us to chat more about your wedding and get an update on the progress of your plans. Whilst doing this, we will of course try a few poses and see what best works and what doesn't so on your big-day, we know exactly what poses we want to shoot (this makes the photoshoot on your wedding day more efficient whilst putting you as ease)
With Shawn & Blair, their shoot was lots of fun. We made an attempt to go down to the beach at Tentsmuir Forest but were met with far too many patches of rainwater which blocked the route to the beach and prevented us from going further.
