We’re absolutely thrilled to be sharing the sweet love story of Bettina and Henry whose wedding we had the pleasure of capturing.
Bettina and Henry reached out to us in search of a luxury wedding photographer and videographer to capture their beautiful wedding day. They knew they wanted to be able to relive the special moments of their big day in years to come. So having us capture it all through photo and video would allow them to see it all but also see the unseen moments of their day too.
Bettina and Henry’s love story began when they met in an online church zoom meeting. Six weeks later, they met again at the Scott’s Monument in Edinburgh and well…the rest is history!
Time passed by, memories were made and the day came where Henry was about to change Bettina’s life forever. More memories were about to be created. It was a Monday just like any other except Henry had a plan. After a lovely walk to one of their favourite hidden spots at Cramond beach in Edinburgh. Bettina had no idea what she was in for. She stood with Henry on top of a rock overlooking the most breathtaking views of the sun setting, waves gently crashing and not a soul in sight. There could not have been a more perfect moment for Henry to get down on one knee and pop the question.

The Scotsman is an iconic location situated in the heart of Edinburgh, the very city where Bettina and Henry met and fell in love.
The day began with the couple getting ready in separate locations. Henry looked very handsome in his suit, but it wasn’t just any old suit as the trousers he wore were of a traditional Scottish tartan to reflect their long history and ties to Edinburgh and Scotland. But we can’t hide from the fact that Bettina just stole the show! Adding some glamour to the wedding theme, she stunned in a jaw-dropping beaded white gown that had the most dramatic train. We were mesmerised at how stunning she looked, but can you imagine Henry when he saw her? He couldn’t stop the tears flowing as she gracefully walked down the aisle hand in hand with her father.
Bettina and Henry wanted to celebrate a wedding that truly reflected them. Their ceremony was personal, religious and centred around Jesus and their nearest and dearest.
But what made it so special was that Bettina’s brother officiated the wedding and we can truly say it was a ceremony filled with warmth, love and devotion. During the ceremony, they also had their cousins play soulful music, Henry’s mother played a wonderful piece on the piano and his sister also did a lovely reading. As previously said the couple wanted their day to centred around their loved ones so rather than having a wedding party, they did things a little different and highlighted people throughout the day. Every detail was perfectly thought out and things could not have been better for this couple. Their vision came to life and their wedding was everything they dreamed of and hoped for.
Their favourite part was their ceremony and for them it was so personal and full of joy. The sermon was really moving and of course when they got the chance to say “I do”, there couldn’t have been a sweeter moment.
Advice from the couple
People will tell you to "just enjoy every moment of the process" - cut yourself some slack. You are planning an ENTIRE WEDDING. It's okay not to enjoy every part of the process.
